To remove back pain, one has to be an active participant.

Just popping a pill will work temporarily but you must act daily, or a few times a week to keep the pain away.

This is a reality and must be understood otherwise you can't control it or its severity.

It's unfortunate that while we're in pain we must act aggressively.

The following 4 ways will relieve your anguish:

1. A deep tissue massage is marvelous during an acute episode.  Nothing like nimble fingers and hand manipulation to ease the constant ache.

2. Movement though limited is surely necessary.  There are very important types of movements that will quickly enhance your ability to return to your everyday activities.  Lying down for 20 minutes at a time
is a must.

3. Correct posture can alleviate back pain. Our spine is supposed to be straight, most times we slump or slightly bend over.  When this position is kept for an extended period of time, we begin to feel it.

The manner of providing relief can be as easy as standing or sitting erect.

Those prone to back issues must also be aware that sitting for long periods also brings on discomfort.  Break up extended periods of sitting by standing, walking or moving around every 30 minutes.

4. Squatting is also a manner of relieving the discomfort.  The reason this works is because it helps to strengthen the muscles in the lower back and the area near the waist. This is extremely important.

These are just a few of the traditional methods that will relieve the pain.

However, your specific back issues do require a personalized regimen to fully strengthen your muscles and reduce the amount of painful episodes you experience.

In summation, one must learn which specific stretches, exercises and pain relievers you need for your body.
